added 21/8/2008 Decided I might have to part with my Lancia, am gutted, as I waited a long time to buy this car, but circumstances dictate that it might have to go. Its a S2 coupe, with low miles, and 1 am the 4th owner, the last being since the 1980s. it has had some sensible engine upgrading by a very reputable lancia specialist which makes it drive very well indeed. (please ask) this is my 4th Monte, and its the best one I have had, so if things improve, it will be withdrawn from sale. It is not perfect, but you would go a long way to find one so original and such a straight drive, it does not rattle, and feels very together. It has had paint, and maintenance over the years, but has never been restored, and is covered in waxoil all over, and underneath.lots of paperwork, all orig handbooks, really clean inside, no saggy seats etc, and to me, just a lovely car, there are ones in better cond, but this car has a certain something special about it, even though you can fault it, you can tell it is just a good one. I have just recommisioned it after storage for a good while, It now has a full MOT, but is sorned. added 19/8/2008 hi have got my dads complete s1 beta spyder in burnt orange .the car was used regular until the clutch went, then went in to storage. started the clutch and lost interested. added 25/6/2008 For sale or Swap Lancia Beta 1600 Saloon - 1979 T Reg. My beloved saloon is up for grabs. It is a 79 1600 in the light metallic blue. It has been off the road for quite a while now and will need some work to bring it back to its former glory. Its shell is really solid with only a few stone chips on the paint, the down side is the panels, whilst there areno holes that i can see the surface rust has pitted the paint along the bonnet and boot lid edges. It also has some scabs on the doors. I took it off the road a few years ago after getting a job requiring high miles that i didnt want to put on it. I did the rear brakes but haven't touched it since. It isn't running (its engine isnt seized) but im not suprised given it hasnt been used in so long. It has been garaged all its life and i have more paper work than you can shake a stick at (one elderly owner before me)! I am going to try and get it running next week if possible but its going to need trailering due to no MOT and perished tyres. I'm open to offers as i want it to go to someone who is going to look after it, ideally i would like to swap for a Fiat 126, Lancia Y10, Citroen 2CV or something along those lines! An HPE VX needing a STRAIGHT-FORWARD MINOR BODYWORK RESTORATION, RE-SPRAY AND CARB RE-FURB Lancia Beta 2.0 litre High Performance Estate Volumex 32,883 miles one owner I bought this one owner car in 1996 and drove it home with the intention of restoring her to her former glory. With only 32,883 miles on the clock, which from the documents that came with the car, I believe to be correct, this car was parked up in my garage and has been there ever since. I was starting her every month, then the carburettor became fouled (probably with stale fuel) and now needs refurbishing. I bolted on non rusty replacement bonnet, door and wing, (now with some surface rust), and now the car needs the bodywork finishing. There is a hole in the bottom of the drivers door, and the wheelarches need minor work; if you are competant with a welder the two or three areas that need plating are small. The main structure of the car is sound, body panels straight, rear turrets top and bottom are good, as is the floorpan. You could take it to a bodyshop and have them do the bodywork and respray in a week, and have this car on the road ready for the summer that we are all waiting for!
I have run out of time and money so with a heavy, but realistic heart, I am letting her go in the hope that someone will take on this relatively straighforward renovation project to re-create a very rewarding drivers car. These cars are becoming rare and at last prices are starting to go up, just as parts are now becoming more rare, although Chris at Betacar still has some parts (as advertised on ebay) as do www.Betaboyz.co.uk on this website. This car would be worth around £3,500 when finished.
The car is a one owner example, originally supplied by Ivor Hill, Wimbledon Park, and I have the V5 and some history. IT IS WAY TOO GOOD TO BREAK - I AM SELLING THE CAR COMPLETE It is situated in Tiverton, Devon, please email if you want to come and view. There is a possibility that I could deliver the car along the A303, M3 route to London, dependent on where you are at £1.50 per mile.

We have been approached (at Brooklands AutoItalia day) by a gentleman who has inherited his late sisters car. Basic details below:
Lancia Beta 2000 saloon Series II 1980 W reg.1 owner car

Automatic box and 44,000 on the clock which I’m certain is
right. Comments on bodywork; It looks like offside sill has been replaced at some time. Nearside sill will need minor attention soon (maybe for MOT?) Front lower wheel arch edge a bit rough. Rear lower wheel arch also has some scabbing nowhere near to major work but small and unsightly, the jacking point on this corner has moved up at some time but again still appears to be all metal. Tyres have good treads on standard saloon type alloys which are dirty but generally in good condition. Interior in excellent condition in line with mileage light blue check cloth Has sunroof but I have not tried opening it. N/S door bottoms have been sprayed with an aerosol I can’t see why (this is worse bit appearance wise on car)
Engine ran well and brakes pull straight (pretty good after
standing for a couple of years)
All the electrical equipment appears to work correctly (again
not bad after 2 years out of service!!!)
Fuel pump is noisy but fuel level very low when I looked at car. See 6 photos attached I would have taken more but camera battery was flat, If you need more contact me and I’ll go and get some more. added 22/3/2008 Hi, I'm a member of Betaboyz and have owned the attached HPE VX for 4 years. It is in considerably better shape than when I purchased it. It is a 1984 model. It is taxed and tested. Mechanically it is very sound. The engine is very strong and the supercharger works well. It has a sun roof and period radio/cassette player that works. The interior is good and benefits from some renovation that the previous owner did. The body work is generally good although there is some rust on the leading edges of the bonnet, and some around the rear wheel arches, and the bottom of the drivers door. Major areas of rust underneath were sorted out after I acquired the car. All in not a major job to sort out I'm told, but I'm not very good at body work repairs. It comes with a box of assorted spares including a spare set of wheels. I've really enjoyed owning and driving this beauty and I'm only selling it to finance another Lancia project. 1982 Montecarlo Series 2 in broom yellow. Absolutely superb
condition - NO RUST. Twin carb conversion. 34000 miles from new and 3
owners. MOT. Original docs from Rome. LHD. Must be seen. New baby
replaces the car. I will be sad to see it go.

Spyder FL 1980 2ltr. in red and rust, lots of parts with it inc spare engine and gearbox, suspension, refurbished wheels 5 of spare bumpers etc etc body on car is very poor, better as parts lot I think unless you are braver than me! did run but no fuel lines battery died about 4yrs ago! Hi,
I would like to list this Beta on behalf of a friend the owner as he
hasn't a PC.
Its a 1982 Beta coupe which has been chopped to a Cabrio
(professionally) and the chassis/frame has been reinforced, the
coachwork has bee resprayed and it has a professionally made hood, the
seats are new as is the carpet, inside is a little dusty as its been
covered over with plastic sheeting which has deteriorated over the
years, its been standing for about 7 yrs, it has new tyres and a
spare set of original alloys with tyres.
I have a few more photo's and can take/send more to any interested
party, It's viewable at a site just nth of Portsmouth in Hampshire he
the owner is looking to recover some of the £4000 he has spent on it
but realises it wont reach anywhere near that figure and, now the
space it's occupying is required for another project and his
enthusiasm for the Beta has gone.
Anyone looking for a simple winter project with a unique car wont be
disappointed. I should add that the engine hasn't been run for the
period its been laid up and I would assume it would be prudent to
overhaul the brakes, it would need to be trailed away.

Have 1974 Beta Sedan left hand drive - engine compartment destroyed by fire. Car was in daily use and in good running order. Reasonable offers considered.

Beta coupe 2.0 ie restotation project
Red, 1984. Bonnet, front wings, doors, boot all excellent. Small amount of rust on rear arches + rear panel. Welding needed on strut mounting points and in a couple of places underneath. Driver's seat torn.
Car ran when I first bought it in Dec '06, but wouldn't start last time I tried. Fuel + spark, so could be Ecu or crank sensor problem.

This is my beloved 1979 series II lancia beta spyder.I have owned this car for over 10 years, the car has only two owners from new with approx 79,000 miles on the clock. Since i have owned it it has had several thousands spent i.e.:- brand new re-trimmed interior brand new rear hood, full stainless steel exhaust alloy wheels and plenty more.
Also comes with the car is plenty of spares and lancia enthusiast magazines, Haynes manual. The car has always been garaged and only comes out in the summer .The car is virtually rust free apart from the minimal bubbles appearing in the corner of the door as shown in the pics. The car has eleven months mot remaining and tax till the end of November.

For Sale
1 x Lancia Beta Spider rolling chassis plus loads of other bits.
The chassis is rust-free, near-enough fully in red oxide, has an overhauled steering rack and drive shafts, obviously steers! I'll say it again - RUST FREE.
With the chassis comes:
Log book.
A pair of new factory front wings
New factory bonnet
New factory front cross member
New windscreen, still in sealed bag
New hood clips and catches
New lock set and keys
New hood frame and a load of new rubbers.
There are 2 Targa tops, 3 excellent doors and a boot lid.
1 x 2 litre engine and gearbox(which was running fine before being
taken from a rotten old donor car)
2 sets of carpets, 2 dashboards, 4 bumpers, 2 sets of seats (front and
back) There are boxes of rubbers, chrome trim, badges, grilles, lights
(front and back), wiring looms, radiators, wing mirrors (both types),
an exhaust system (non-rusty too!), 6 Beta alloy wheels, as well as
the four on the chassis.
Loads of springs, dampers, brake components, calipers etc.
Basically near-enough a full car which came with the chassis (minus engine) plus a load of extra spares, AND a full donor car which was stripped down, only the chassis being scrapped. It will obviously need a trailer to collect it, and really a van to take all the spares.
It is with great reluctance that I'm going to have to say goodbye to this car, but I'm never going to have the time, energy or space to get it done.
It's been in my mate's warehouse for a long time (always been dry-stored), and I've had notice his tour finishes next week and he is going to go mental when he sees it still in there!!
Price £500 for the lot.
I know if I was choosy, I could get more than that for a fraction of the individual parts which I could store in my garage, but I'm soft and think it would be a crime to cut up and scrap a rust-free chassis. Yes, you can buy the hood frame from me, it is £500, and you get a free chassis and loads of spares! As fellow enthusiasts, I hope you can see my reluctance to just flog off the expensive bits and ditch the buky parts.
It took a long time to find a decent chassis, my mate chopped one of them up because he couldn't sell it before I stepped in and prevented him from tipping all the parts. As I say, he is going to flip when he sees it all still there, and I have nowhere to put it. It has to go YESTERDAY! Please don't mail me and tell me you want it but can't pick it up till September, I will have been murdered by then!!!!

1979 Lancia Beta Coupe 1600.
Very reliable, used most days when weather permits, garaged when not.
Mechanics excellent, interior good (apart from seat cloth is worn). Bodywork was resprayed 2 years ago, and still turns heads with a fantastic shine, though not perfect. Engine just serviced with new oil, filter and cambelt.
Everyday use car, so taxed and tested (7 months).
I am after £1250 ono for the car, I am in North East of England, in Newton Aycliffe, and finally, I am selling the car because my other Lancia is nearing the end of its restoration.

Bad news is, one of the reasons the car is so

Hi ,
My series II Beta coupe will soon be available to a new home. I aim to remove the engine and gearbox but the rest is worth keeping (good tyres, trims, remade interior, glass, bumpers). Car still drives well, but engine is needed for Stratos kit. Car is 20 miles past Chester in Wales. Will need trailering. Have v5 and want 100 quid for it. Pics to be sent if you are interested
